    3. Ramanathaswamy Temple
    A major pilgrimage site, this temple is famous for its grand architecture and spiritual significance. Known for its 1,212 intricately carved pillars, long corridors, and the 22 sacred wells (Theerthams) within its premises.

    4. Ramar Paadam Temple (Gandhamadhana Parvatham)
    The highest point on the island, offering panoramic views of Rameshwaram. Believed to have Lord Rama’s footprints preserved on a chakra (wheel).

    5. Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple
    "Panchamukhi" means "Five-Faced," referring to Lord Hanuman's depiction with five faces representing five divine forms.

    6. Lakshmana Tirtham
    is one of the sacred theerthams (holy water bodies) in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. It holds deep religious significance and is associated with Lord Lakshmana, the devoted brother of Lord Rama.

    7. Kothandaramar Temple
    A temple dedicated to Lord Rama, situated in a serene, coastal location.

    8. Dhanushkodi Beach
    A ghost town located at the tip of the island, offering a blend of mystique and natural beauty. It was devastated by a cyclone in 1964 and now serves as a quiet, scenic spot.

    9. Arichal Munai
    A legendary bridge of limestone shoals believed to have been built by Lord Rama’s army to reach Lanka. The starting point near Dhanushkodi is a serene and spiritual spot.

    10. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial
    A tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, India’s "Missile Man" and former President, who was born in Rameshwaram. Features a beautifully designed structure showcasing his life and achievements.
